Charles Bougie is a founding partner of Kluane Partners.

Prior to Kluane Partners, Charles served as Senior Principal at the Alberta Teachers Retirement Fund (AIMCo) co-managing a multibillion portfolio of private equity and infrastructure investments and was also a Director at BMO Capital Partners providing complex structured finance solutions to Canadian private companies. Charles was also an early investor and played an instrumental role at a successful start-up venture named Daiya, which was ultimately sold for over $US 400 million.

Charles holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and an MBA from Ivey Business School.

Brock Forbes is a Senior Principal at Kluane Partners.

Prior to joining Kluane Partners, Brock was an investment banker at Eight Capital, focusing on oil and gas, cannabis, agriculture, and other diversified industries. Before going to Eight Capital, he also held the position of Financial Analyst at a boutique management consulting firm where he focused on financial modelling & analysis for public and private enterprises in Western Canada.

Brock holds a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Finance with a Certificate in Economics from the University of Regina and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Pedro Porto Alegre is a Director of Business Development & Marketing at Kluane Partners.

Prior to joining Kluane Partners, Pedro was the Associate Brand Manager for Ruffles at PepsiCo Foods Canada, where he led the brand’s multi-million-dollar budget to drive digital, TV and in-store marketing campaigns, as well as commercializing innovation launches from formula development through packaging design for the brand across the country. Before that, he also held the positions of District Sales Manager for Southern Alberta, Western Canada Sales Analyst, and Field Marketing Manager for Canada while at PepsiCo.

Pedro holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Calgary.

Arthur also held the positions of Senior Project Controls Specialist at the International Organization for Migration and Chief Accountant at Yerevanshin in Armenia

Arthur holds an MBA from the International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences in St Petersburg (Russia), a Chemical Engineering degree from the State Engineering University of Armenia and a Business and Management degree from the American University of Armenia.

Prior to joining Kluane Partners, Seun was a Deal Advisory Manager at KPMG supporting clients on the buy and sell side, including financial and commercial due diligence, business planning & financial modelling, business valuations, divestiture & bid advisory, and fund raising. Before that, she held the role of Tax Advisory Consultant at KPMG.

Seun holds a B.A. in Business Studies, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA).
